1st 2 days at work….at Hampden Park…
Ahh, just a week after d end of Sem 6, now jus awaiting d start of my Euro Trip wif d gang of 14ppl (not 2 mention d Sem 6 results)…Well, instead of spending d time at home jus lazing around, playing games, n always not getting enuf rest, i might as well go n work, n my 1st assignment(Fri 7th Sept), setting up d tables in multiple suites at Hampden Park Stadium. D tasks were not really taxing, like polishing wine glasses, dealing wif cutleries n moving tables, but d fact is me n my frens did not get enuf sleep d nite before n in combination wif a super disorganized supervisor n a vry arrogant young Scottish co-worker(she thinks she’s a big boss n treat us like dogs), it was a big hindrance. 10 hours of continuous work was not wat we expected as it was supposed 2 b a 4 hour shift, but anyways, it was definitely worth d pay.
D next day(Sat 8th Sept), being a hawker at Hampden Park for d Euro 2008 qualifier btw Scotland n Lithuania, wif 52,000 fans in d standium, my gosh… I was supposed 2 b a till worker, but anyways, being a hawker n selling steak pies, Capri orange juice, mars n twix bars was much better coz we get 2 c part of d match 4 free, n oso worked 2gether wif a young teenage Scottish girl… 2 bad d shift was jus a mere 3 hours n vry little pay…at least i got a 1 pound tip,hehe…
